Do you host my data? Is this hosting?
No. We don't own servers nor store any of your files. We sell you the server itself—a physical piece of hardware that lives in your home or office—and that's it. You buy it once; there are no monthly fees.
Do I need to be a tech expert?
Not at all. If you can plug in a TV and scan a QR code, you can use your server. The heavy lifting inside—encryption, backups, firewalls—is our job, not yours.
What if the device breaks?
It runs automatic, encrypted backups, and we offer real human support in Colombia to repair or replace it. We'll also help you set up an offsite backup for your irreplaceable files.
Can I access my photos from outside my home?
Yes. Every device uses a direct, encrypted connection to your server—working seamlessly from anywhere without exposing your local network to the public internet.
What if you disappear tomorrow?
Your server keeps running perfectly. It's built on mature open-source software, not on our proprietary cloud: you don't need us for your stuff to remain yours.
Does this comply with Law 1581 for my business?
Absolutely. Your data physically stays in your office, and you manage all user access. We provide you with the technical documentation needed for your SIC registration.
Why not just get a Synology NAS?
If you enjoy setting up RAID arrays on a Saturday, a NAS is a fun project. Nido comes completely ready: apps pre-configured, security enabled, and a real person to call. You get the finished product, not a weekend chore.
